Group Classes

Group classes are a fun and easy way to dive into a topic without committing to weekly lessons. Classes are kept small to give each student personalized attention. Students can choose among multi-week courses in topics like music theory or vocal health, or from a rotating list of special-interest classes, like specific composers, eras of music, or genres.

Upcoming classes will include voice technique for adult students, intro to music theory for young musicians, and jazz greats for adult singers.
Stay tuned!

This 8-week class is for adult piano students who want to gain foundational knowledge in Western music theory. Students should already have basic sight reading and technical skills, as well as a keyboard or piano.

Classes are $25 each and last an hour
Minimum of 2 students, maximum of 6
Meets Tuesdays 6pm or Thursdays, 6pm

Classes will meet over Zoom. No special equipment is needed to attend class, though wearing headphones and using a mic or headset might make audio clearer.

Because each class builds on the foundation from our previous meetings, some of the longer courses cannot be attended ad hoc as single classes. For these courses, each student must register for the entire course and pay for the full term in advance.

See a class that you would like to take, but can’t meet at that time? If you and others you know would like to take any of my current (or previous) classes, please be in touch and we can arrange new dates and times!

To sign up for any course, please contact me before the start date. And, as always, please reach out if you have any questions!
